Coy Allen Lloyd, 54, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday evening, March 18, 2016 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Born December 22, 1961 in Lamar, Colorado, he was the son of Allen and Lonnie (McGinnis) Lloyd. He spent some of his childhood in Lamar, until his family moved to Arkansas City, where he attended high school.

Coy worked at Powers Roofing as a roofer. He was united in marriage to Brenda Boster on August 11, 2011 in Arkansas City. The couple made their home in Winfield. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

His family includes:
His wife: Brenda Lloyd of Winfield;
His four sisters: Mary, Jessica, Alice and Julia;
His brother: Mark;
A son; and
Numerous nieces and nephews.

Coy was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will hold memorial services at Central Baptist Church on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 10:30 A.M.

A memorial has been established in Coy's name to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service.
