CORBIN LANCE WILT, 38, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away in May of 2012.
Born June 26, 1974 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Harold Wayne and Karen (Lancer) Wilt. He was raised and educated in Winfield, and graduated Winfield High School in 1993. He then attended Cowley County Community College, majoring in Criminology. Corbin later attended the KU Law Enforcement Training Facility in Hutchinson, Kansas.
He was united in marriage to Tracy L. Kitterman on May 8, 1999 at the First Presbyterian Church in Winfield. The couple made their home in Winfield. When he was younger, Corbin worked for the Winfield Ice House as well as for Winfield Pharmacy and Graves Drug Store.
He later worked for the Winfield Police Department where he was a sergeant and as a volunteer firefighter for the Winfield Fire Department. Corbin was a truck driver for Schneider International Trucking and also worked for Dennett's Tree Service. Most recently, he had worked driving a truck for Coffeyville Resources.
Corbin was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Winfield. He enjoyed motorcycles and pin striping and loved riding his Harley Davidson.

His sister-in-law: Sandee Dobbs and husband, Wes of Winfield;
His nephews: Jason Becker, Wyatt, Lane and Qin Wilt, Jessie Owings;
His nieces: Stormie and Zoe Wilt; Samantha Owings, and Brianna and Sienna Dobbs;
His great nieces and nephews: Shayla and Leah Jo Owings, and Nikolas Owings and Maysen Dobbs; and
Numerous cousins.
Corbin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Hazel Wilt and his aunt, Pat Halderman.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service.
A Memorial has been established in Corbin's name for his children's education fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
