September 22, 1948 – July 21, 2022
Connie Price Brown got her invitation to be with the lord at the age of 73, in the comfort of home in Pearland, Texas, Thursday July 21st, 2022.
Connie was born on September 22nd, 1948, in Winfield Kansas, she was the daughter of C.B and Velva Ruth (Bolte) Price. Connie grew up on the Price Ranch and went to school in Atlanta, Kansas.
Connie worked many professions, some of which include secretary, factory worker, real estate/ insurance broker, and business entrepreneur.
She was a member of The Greek Orthodox Church. Her home church was St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Waco, Texas. She loved many hobbies in life, most of which made memories with her family and friends, some of which included water skiing and spending many days and nights at lake Eldorado Lake or driving the sand dunes in Waynoka Oklahoma with family. She loved to learn and create, she took up hobbies in leather crafting, calligraphy, ink on glass, crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking, and gardening and so much more. She was in her words "A jack of all trades, but a master of none." She instilled the love of learning and the joy of experiencing life with her whole family. Everyone that got to know Connie quickly learned that there is nothing in life that you can't learn, and everything is worth doing right.
Her family includes her three children Michael Edward Kasten, Michelle Dawn (Kasten) McGee, and Mason Paul Kasten. Her loving grandchildren to include April, Matt, Elisiana, Trevor, Fattu, Tanner, Macy, Ryan, Skyler, Andrew, Roren, Tiffany and Trey. Her "beautiful and handsome" great grandchildren Samanttha & Caleb, Gaina, Emberleigh & Avacyn, Kysen, Irelyn & Rylee, Keelan & Koen. Her brother Larry Price, his wife Phyllis Price and family.
Connie was preceded in death by so many she loved dearly. Her mother and father C.B. & Velva (Bolte) Price, her sister Joyce (Price) Craft, Rob Craft, her husbands Ed Shaffer, Edward (Butch) Kasten & Daryl Brown. As well as many others.
Remember that, as we are here to give our respects to and to remember the care, love, and life lessons that our Sister, Mother, Grandma, Yiayia, & Friend.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 1, 2022, at Holy Trinity Church in Wichita, Kansas. Interment will follow at Latham Cemetery in Latham. A visitation is scheduled at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 5 to 8 P.M.
