Clifford Alexander Vaughn, 74, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at his home.
Born October 28, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas, he was the son of Carl Alexander and Doris Lorraine (Webb) Vaughn. Clifford resided at Winfield State Hospital and Training Center until 1996 when he became a resident of Focus Developmental Center. While at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center, he met Roland Terrones and the two quickly became best friends. They remained roommates at Focus Developmental Center and later moved to Mosaic where they continued as best friends and roommates until Clifford's passing.
Clifford enjoyed a relaxing lifestyle of going for rides, relaxing on the couch and hanging out with his friends. He also enjoyed Mosaic Christmas celebrations and camps, watching old westerns and playing with blocks.

His friends and staff at Mosaic in Winfield.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, February 2, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Dexter Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Clifford's name for Mosaic. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
