Claudine Marie Wiseman, 78, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Friday evening, May 30, 2014 at her home in Udall.

Born April 3, 1936 in Rock, Kansas, she was the daughter of Charles William Daily and Pauline Grace (Howard) Houser. She was raised and received her education in Rock and Udall, Kansas.

Claudine was united in marriage to Bruce Lee Wiseman on July 10, 1953 in Augusta, Kansas. The couple made their first home in Augusta where Claudine was a homemaker. In 1971 they moved their family to Kansas City, Kansas where Mr. Wiseman went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad. After retiring in 2002 they moved to Udall, Kansas. Mr. Wiseman preceded her in death on August 29, 2013.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. She especially enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family.

Her daughters: Rose Hatfield and husband, John Todd of Winfield; Katherine Woods and husband, Jim of Udall; Leonora Maurer and husband, Kevan of Shawnee; Marian Morasch and husband, James of Edwardsville;
Her brothers: Charles W. Houser Jr., of Wichita; Woodrow Houser of Derby; Joe Houser of Arkansas City; Paul Houser of Douglass; Ray Houser of Mulvane; Chester Houser of South Haven; Felix Houser of Wichita;
Her sisters: Donna Ehmke of Winfield; Carryl Routh of Edwardsville; Virginia Macy of Forth Worth, TX; Mildred Houser of Houston; and
Her 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Claudine was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Stalter Cemetery east of Rock, Kansas. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, June 3, 2014 from 4 to 8. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.

A memorial has been established in Mrs. Wiseman's name for the Salvation Army. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
