CLAUDINE FIFE, 90, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday morning, December 9, 2013 at William Newton Hospital.
Born February 5, 1923 in Howard, Kansas, she was the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Blanche (Biddle) Brister. Claudine was raised in the Winfield area and attended schools in Floral. She was united in marriage to Thomas Jerald Fife in 1988 in Wellington, Kansas. The couple made their home in Winfield. They had recently celebrated their 90th birthdays with trips to Colorado, Tennessee and Washington.
Mrs. Fife enjoyed working in her garden. She dearly loved her family and spending time with them.

Her son: Joe Keeler and wife, Judi of Tonganoxie, Kansas;
Her step-daughter: Cathy Kliewer of Fort Morgan, Colorado;
Her brother: Bill Brister and wife, Evelyn of Kelso, Washington;
Her 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Claudine was preceded in death by her son, Gary Keeler, her grandson, Terry Keeler and her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
