Cinda Sue Adams, 76, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Winfield Rest Haven.

Born June 1, 1947, in Winfield, she was the daughter of Clarence and Maxine (Gurnee) Widener.  She was raised and received her education in Winfield.  In 1972, she met and married her soulmate Boyd Adams in Springfield, Missouri.  The couple made their home in Winfield, where Cinda was a dedicated mother and homemaker.  In addition to spending time with her kids and grandchildren, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and going to thrift stores and yard sales.

Her family includes her sons, Chris Adams and wife, Sandy of Arkansas City; Johnnie Adams and companion, Elizabeth Amezcua of Winfield; Travis Adams and companion, Kristi Bauler of Winfield; her brothers, Jeff Widener, Lennie Widener, and Ricky Widener all of Winfield; her sister Connie Brooks of South Dakota; her grandchildren, Brandi Adams, Dallas Adams, Corey Adams and wife Kelly, Skylar Adams and wife, Destiny, Laiken Adams, Jalissa Amezcua, Damian Scott and wife Carly, Jayden Adams, Antonio Adams, Cody Chandler, and Brianna Adams; her great grandchildren, Shelbie, Aspen, Khloe, Braxton, Emma, Laniah, and Marcel; and numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, Cinda was preceded in death by her soulmate Boyd Adams, five siblings, Larry Widener, Terry Widener, Leroy Widener, Cody Widener, and Kelly Sanders, and a daughter-in-law Lupe Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 8, 2023, at Miles Funeral Service.  Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.  A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M.  The family will greet visitors from 5 to 7 that evening.

A memorial has been established in Cinda's name for the American Heart Association.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
