Christopher Lee Tredway, 42, of Pittsburg, Kansas, passed away Monday evening, January 8, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Chris was born January 25, 1975 in Houston, Texas. He was the son of Douglass Tredway and Lisa Seabury. He was raised and received his education in Burden, Kansas, graduating from Central of Burden High School in 1993. Chris worked in construction and welding. He loved to build and was very mechanical. Chris was an avid Green Bay Packers and Jeff Gordon and Nascar fan.

His fiancé: Amber Prosser of Pittsburg;
His children: Thomas Tredway of Washington; Braden Tredway of Winfield; Destiney Tredway of Wichita; Brantlee Tredway of Pittsburg;
His step-daughter: Chayna Childs of Arkansas City;
His brothers: Jeremy Tredway of Mt. Hope; Brandon Tredway and wife, Tiffany of Canada;
His sisters: Heather Acosta and husband, Aaron of Winfield; Danielle Widener and husband, Dustin of Winfield; and
His grandparents: Dorothy Tredway of Oklahoma; Richard McKinley and wife, Audrey of Arkansas.

Chris was preceded in death by grandparents, Dorth "Bud" Tredway and Lois McKinley, uncle, Steve Tredway and step-father, Floyd Clarkson.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses and to benefit the Floyd Clarkson Scholarship Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
