CHARLOTTE A. WILTSE, 79, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 11, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital.
Born October 8, 1934 in Tyro, Kansas, she was the daughter of George and Minnie (Stocker) Barrager. She was raised and educated in Independence, Kansas, and graduated from Independence High School.
Charlotte was united in marriage to Walter Wiltse on August 29, 1952 in Independence, Kansas. Charlotte worked as a church secretary and in banking and a CPA firm as a bookkeeper.
She was a member of the Derby First Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and most recently was a caregiver for her husband.

Her brother: Jack Barrager and wife, Charlene of Portland, OR;
Her sisters: June Walker of Schulenburg, TX; Helen Jones of Duncanville, TX;
Her grandchildren: Kristi Wiltse, Caleb Wiltse, Jeremy Wiltse, Reesa Wiltse, Rendi Fairley, Joshua Wiltse, Marin Wiltse, and Grace Wiltse; and
Her great grandchildren: Brylee Wiltse and Daphne Fairley.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Elmer and her sisters, Frankie, Fannie, and Louise.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.
A Memorial has been established in Charlotte's name for the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
