Charles Cornwell, age 89, passed peacefully on August 2, 2020 at Avita Memory Care in Wichita.

Born on September 23rd, 1930, in Winfield, he was the oldest of two children of Charles and Viola Cornwell, who preceded him in death. Charles was married for 70 years to Wanda Cornwell, who preceded him in death in December of 2019. Charles was also preceded in death by his daughter, Marilyn R. Bedigrew, and is survived by his sons (Charles) David Cornwell and his wife, Carol Horn of Wichita, KS; Bradley Cornwell of Montgomery, AL; and son-in law, Marvin Bedigrew of Goddard, KS. He is also survived by his beloved 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his surviving sister, Joyce Kay Nelson of Hutchison, KS.

Funeral Arrangements will be handled by Miles Funeral Service of Winfield, KS and a graveside service will be held on August 8th, in Winfield, Kansas at 10AM Highland Cemetery.
