Chalmer Earl Haworth, 101, of Atlanta, Kansas, passed away Monday morning, April 18, 2016.
Born January 26, 1915 in Atlanta, Kansas, he was the son of Clinton Charles and Ruby Ida Mae (Seabridge) Haworth. He was raised and received his education in Atlanta.
Chalmer was united in marriage to Betty Baird on May 9, 1944 in Winfield, Kansas. The couple lived their life and farmed in the Atlanta area. Chalmer also worked for over 20 years at Cessna Aircraft, retiring in 1977 as an Expeditor.
He was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church and the Kansas Masonic Lodge in Latham. He enjoyed tending bee hives and giving honey to family and friends.

His son: Earl Dwayne Haworth and wife, Kat of Grand Island, NE;
His daughter: Anna Marie Haworth of Wichita; and
Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Chalmer was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbur, Shelton and Lowell Haworth and three sisters, Carol Smith, Laura Wingert and Esther Ewing.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at the Atlanta Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Chalmer's name for the Atlanta First Responders. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
