Catherine "Cat" Browning, 55, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her home.
Born November 25, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of Loren D. and Susie Ann (McKinley) Browning. She was raised and received her early education in the Mulvane area before moving with her family to El Dorado where she attended and graduated from El Dorado High School. After high school, she went to work in the accounting department at Wichita State University. While working at WSU, she began taking classes and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 2005.
She was united in marriage to Darrell Schulle on September 16, 2006. The couple made their home in Udall and Cat began working for the United States Post Office as a Post Master Relief. While working for the post office, she attended Friends University and graduated with her Master of Business Administration Degree. Cat later worked at Danville Coop and had recently began selling her crafts online.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Mulvane. Cat was very creative and enjoyed working on crafts, sewing, quilting, and making jewelry and greeting cards.
Her family includes her husband Darrell Schulle of Udall; her step-children, Amanda Butts and husband, Gerry of Cedar Creek, TX; Travis Scott and wife, Michelle of Lockhart, TX; Ryan Scott and wife, Shelby of Lockhart, TX; her sister Lori Browning of Phoenix, AZ; and her eight grandchildren.
Cat was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Mulvane. Miles Funeral Service in Winfield is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Cat's name for the American Heart Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
