Obituary

Carol L. (Hann) Kelly, 78, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 1, 2016 at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Born January 26, 1938 in Udall, Kansas, she was the daughter of Kermit and Callie (Grant) Hann. She was raised and received her education in Winfield graduating from Winfield High School. She was united in marriage to Jimmie L. Kelly in Enid, Oklahoma on April 20, 1957. Carol worked for Southwestern Bell as a switchboard operator in Winfield. The couple moved to Ft. Worth, Texas, where Carol worked at Burris Mills as a switchboard operator as well. She later worked at Mrs. Baird's Bakeries and retired as a store manager. Mr. Kelly preceded her in death on March 24, 2002.

Carol enjoyed the life God gave her along with reading, talking and reminiscing with her sisters. She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Kelly. Carol deeply loved the Lord and always said she was so blessed. She always said, "I feel as though I am God's favorite child."

Her family includes:
Her son: Ricky Kelly of Richland Hills, TX;
Her daughter: Janice Kelly Fritchen and husband, Scott of Keller, TX;
Her precious granddaughter: Kelly Fritchen; and
Her sisters: Janet Heckathorn and husband, Don of Fayetteville, AR; Connie Pappan and husband, Lloyd of Wichita.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in death by her sisters, Lila Burley and Roetta Carter.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at New Salem Cemetery northeast of Winfield. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
