Candace "Candi" E. Cantrell, 40, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday morning, July 9, 2012 at William Newton Hospital.
Born October 31, 1971 in Wellington, Kansas, she was the daughter of Frank Ray and Carol "Elaine" (Askins) Bolack. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1990.
Candi was united in marriage to Charles Eli Cantrell on September 1, 1994, in Winfield Kansas. The Couple made their home in Winfield. Candi was a very thoughtful and caring mother, wife, and friend. She spent most of her life as a homemaker helping to raise the family's three children. She loved her children very much and loved every minute she had with them. She enjoyed watching them play sports, and school activities. She always put others first.

Her children: Eli Akim Cantrell, Abby Elizabeth Cantrell, and Lane Ray Cantrell all of the home;
Her mother: Elaine Bolack of Winfield;
Her sisters: Cindy Law and husband, Kevin of Arkansas City; Tammy Shore and husband, Ted of Winfield;
Her numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews; and
Her four legged companions: Tramp, Sophia, and Rolo.
In addition to her grandparents Candi was preceded in death by her father Frank Ray Bolack.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:30 A.M., at the Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge where she will rest next to her father. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 5 to 7 that evening.
Memorials have been established in Candi's name for Harry Hynes Hospice, the Cowley County Humane Society, and for her children's education. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
