Caleb Olmstead, 19, of Winfield, Kansas passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021.

Born May 6, 2001 in Winfield, he was the son of Justin Olmstead and Kristine (Harding) Olmstead. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 2019. While in high school, Caleb was a member of the soccer team. Following high school, he attended Moberly Area Community College in Columbia, Missouri, before transferring to Cowley County Community College. He worked at LC Wood & Crete with his brother in Wichita and later at Domino's Pizza in Arkansas City.

Caleb was an avid Manchester United fan and had aspirations of working in sports as an announcer. He also enjoyed anthropology and geography, playing video games, and working on the ranch with his grandparents.

His family includes his mother Kristine Olmstead of Winfield; his father Justin Olmstead and wife, Rose of Wichita; his siblings, Jared Case and wife, Melissa of Wichita; Chandler Olmstead of Lawrence; Leighton Olmstead of Wichita; his grandparents, Kent and Sharon Olmstead of Winfield; Shirley Harding of Winfield; John and Barbara Harding of Mulvane; his aunts and uncles, Teri and Brian Chambers; Martin and Stacie Harding; Marsha Allard; Robert and Tracy Brown; Jerry and Chris Gifford; his cousins, Rosalind Chambers; Bradley and Kayla Harding; Gage Harding; Jack Harding; Samantha Harding; Jesse Brown; Paige Aldershof and husband, Cody; Michael Brown; Zachary Allard; and a nephew Hudson Case.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Miles Funeral Service.

A memorial has been established in Caleb's name for The Kansas Suicide Prevention HQ. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
