Obituary

Bryan Matthew Lampe, 47, of Burden, Kansas, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at his home.

Born May 27, 1976, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Rudolph Gause and Christine Lampe.  He was raised and received his education in Herington and Garden City, graduating high school in 1995 from Garden City.

After high school, Bryan enlisted in the National Guard and in 2000, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  While in the Marines, he served two tours in Iraq, and one tour in Afghanistan.  After discharge from the Marines, Bryan returned to Garden City, where he began his career as a metal fabricator.  He later moved to Rose Hill and then Augusta, before settling in Burden in October of 2022.  Bryan was united in marriage to Kimberly Kachiroubas on July 28, 2023.

His family includes his wife Kim of Burden; his mother Christine Lampe of Manhattan; his children, Lexus Rawlings of Preston, ID; Paris Lampe of North Carolina; Shakiya Lampe of North Carolina; Jayda Lampe of Haysville; Bryan Lampe, Jr. of Haysville; and Gavyn Lampe of Haysville; and his grandmother Virginia Lampe of Manhattan.

Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Alvin Lampe and two aunts.

Services will be held at a later date under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.

A memorial has been established in Bryan's name for Habitat for Humanity. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
