BRUCE LEE WISEMAN, 81, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Thursday night, August 29, 2013 at his home.
Born March 6, 1932 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Charles McKinley and Maud Bell (Andess) Wiseman. He was raised in Wichita and attended Towanda High School. Bruce worked as a police officer in Augusta and Derby and later at General Motors in Arlington, Texas and Grand Prairie, Texas.
Bruce was united in marriage to Claudine Marie Houser on July 10, 1953 in Augusta, Kansas. The couple had six children. He moved his family to Kansas City, Kansas in 1971 to work for Santa Fe Railroad as a mechanic. He worked for Santa Fe until his retirement in 1998 and moved to Udall, Kansas in 2002.
Mr. Wiseman loved to fish. He also enjoyed building clocks, radio controlled flying, playing board games and card games, playing on his computer and taking photos.

His sons: Charles Wiseman and wife, Lisa of Edwardsville, KS; and Vincent Wiseman and wife, Diana of Edwardsville, KS;
His daughters: Rose Hatfield and husband, John Todd of Winfield; Katherine Woods and husband, Jim of Udall; Leonora Maurer and husband, Kevan of Shawnee; and Marian Morasch and husband, James of Edwardsville, KS;
His 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer, Gerald, Harold and Charles and his sister, Marian.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Stalter Cemetery in Rock, Kansas. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 to 8. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 that evening.
A memorial has been established in Bruce's name for the Salvation Army. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
