Obituary

BRANDY (RIDDLE) SPENCER, 35, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008 in Wichita due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

She was born on October 8, 1972, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. She was the joy of her mother's heart and was the most beautiful baby in the military hospital She was the daughter of Jerry "Bear" and Lesley Riddle. She attended Peckham elementary schools and graduated from Newkirk High School in 1990. She spent a year studying Liberal Arts at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She worked many jobs doing many different things and enjoyed all of them.

She was wife to Leroy Fields, and to that union two daughters were born, Taylor and Jessica Riddle. She was then married to Rowdy Ropp and they were blessed with a son, Matthew. She found the love and happiness she so needed and deserved with her husband, Wm. Jeff Spencer and they were married in December of 2000 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The couple lived in Caney, Winfield, and most recently, Wichita, Kansas.

Brandy loved animals and plants and was talented in flower arranging and home decorating. She created a well-managed and orderly home for her family and kept excellent records of family finances. She had a real talent for child photography and had been a portrait photographer. For several years, she had been taking on-line courses and was close to completion on her degrees in business management and criminology.

Her family includes:
Her children: Taylor, Jessica and Matthew of the home;
Her parents: Jerry "Bear" and Lesley Riddle of Blackwell, OK;
Her sister: Monica Nolasco of Oklahoma City, OK;
Her brothers: Chris Riddle of Ponca City, OK; and Glenn Riddle of Ottawa, Canada; and
Many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jody and Cathie Sober, and James and Lucille Bearskin, and by her brother, Gerry Carl Riddle.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008, at 10:00 A.M., at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. at Dewey Cemetery in Dewey, Oklahoma. Friends and family may call at Miles Funeral Service on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M.
