BOUAPHINH "BOB" PHRAKORNKHAM, 70, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 7, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 1, 1942 in Houa Na, Laos, he was the son of Boua and Peng Sphabmixay.
His family includes:
His wife: Mai of Lawrence, KS;
His sons: Bouapane and Souksavanh both of Lawrence, KS; and Viengsone of Newport, NC;
His daughter: Thoummy of Lawrence, KS;
His brothers: Kham Lek of Houa Xiang, Laos; and Khamthong of Houa Phan, Laos; and
His sisters: Mee of Tha Sanh, Laos; and Mai of Pak Lai, Laos,
He was preceded in death by his son, Bouaphone; and his brothers, Ma, Phom and Phone.
A visitation will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 10-12) from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 13, 2012 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Cremation will follow and a memorial service will be held at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Highland Cemetery.
