Billy Ray Anderson, 65, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his home.
Born September 29, 1952 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of Orville and Louisa (Fryor) Anderson. He was raised in Hot Springs until his family moved to Kansas. He met his wife, Holly while working in Wichita. The couple moved to Winfield in 1996. Billy worked at Creekstone in Arkansas City for several years. He enjoyed putting model cars together. His passion was pug rescue.
His family includes:
His wife: Holly West Anderson of Winfield;
His children: Jeremy, Curtis and Stephanie Anderson all of Wichita;
His brothers and sisters: Helen Tennis-Lynch, Lorene Trammel, Irene Hamilton, Woody Anderson, Timothy Anderson and Loretta Schmelzle all of Wichita;
His 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and
Six pugs.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Billy's name for Homeward Bound Pug Rescue. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
