Obituary

Beulah Criner, 89, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, formerly of Burden, Kansas, passed away Saturday night, September 24, 2016 at Shawn Manor Nursing Home in Ponca City.

Born January 12, 1927 in Binger, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Ernest and Leona (Brewer) Baker. She was raised and received her education in Ponca City, graduating from Ponca City High School in 1945.

Beulah was united in marriage to Irvin C. Criner on April 2, 1948 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The couple farmed west of Burden, Kansas for a number of years. They returned to Ponca City in 1979. Irvin preceded her in death on December 27, 1985.

Her family includes:
Her son: Jim Criner of Ponca City, OK;
Her daughters: Dona Ahrens of Lynnwood, WA; Charlene Phillips of Mountlake Terrace, WA; and
Several grandchildren

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Burden Cemetery. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established in Beulah's name for the Old Time Fiddlers Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
