After Marvin's retirement, the couple worked as custodians for Trinity Lutheran Church and School for five years. Mr. Kaiser preceded her in death on November 25, 2004.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Aid and Children's Church Choir, as well as worked with preschool children at the school. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, doing crosswords and seek and finds, and loved to read her Bible and do her daily devotions. She also enjoyed bowling, which she did until her health began to fail.
