Belinda Jo Turner, 60,
of Winfield, Kansas, passed away at her home Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
Born July 8, 1957, in Arkansas City, Kansas, she was the daughter of Gene and Betty Joan (Hammon) Cook. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1975.
Belinda was united in marriage to Thomas Turner on June 4, 1977 in Winfield. The couple made their home in Winfield. Belinda worked as a decorator at Foster's Furniture as well helping her husband at Winfield Laundry & Dry Cleaning. She made her primary career being a homemaker. Mr. Turner preceded her in death on March 20, 2016.
She was a member of Winfield Country Club and The Ladies Golf Association. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and helping friends and family with interior decorating.

Her mother: Betty Joan Andes of Winfield;
Her sister: Debra Bachman of Florida;
Her aunt: Molly Patton of Colorado Springs, CO; and
Her grandchild: Averie Stoabs of Winfield.
In addition to her father and husband, Belinda was preceded in death by her brother, David Triplett and an infant daughter, Erica.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Memorials have been established in Belinda's name for the Cowley County Humane Society and the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
