Barbara J. Blizard's Obituary
Barbara J. Blizard, 85, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away March 14, 2017 at her home.
Born July 12, 1931 in Winfield, she was the daughter of Ralph A. and Thelma Ruth (Davis) Blizard. She was raised and received her education in Winfield graduating from Winfield High School. Barbara worked at Gordon and Piatt and later as a Sales Clerk at Graves Drug and finally a greeter at Walmart. She enjoyed gambling and going on bus trips to the casino as well as playing bingo.
Her family includes:
Her brother: Donald Blizard of Cherokee Village, AR; and
Her half brother: Darrell Blizard of Colorado.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will hold private graveside memorial services. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Barbara's name for the Alzheimer's Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
