Barbara Kay Bilyeu, 81, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away, October 29, 2020 at her home.

Born March 13, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of Freeman and Ethel (Farmer) Bilyeu. Her family then moved to Overland Park, Kansas. Barbara later moved to the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center where she remained until becoming one of Winfield's first residents of Martin Luther Homes, which is now Mosaic.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her guardian Melody Brinigar, her caregivers, and roommates.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Memorials in Barbara's name are for Cowley County Humane Society and for Redeemer Lutheran Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
