Anthony W. McCullough, 59, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, July 5, 2020 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.

Born July 24, 1960 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Troy Lee and Darlene Irene (Weyer) McCullough. He was raised and received his early education in Wichita, before moving with his mother to Winfield during middle school. He completed his education in Haysville and Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1978.

He was united in marriage to Wanda Lewis on June 15, 1979 in Wichita. The couple made their home in Winfield where Anthony worked for Prairieland Processors. He later became a machinist and went to work at Galaxy Tool, where he remained for over 20 years.

Anthony was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the National Rifle Association, and Relay for Life. He was an avid Denver Bronco fan and enjoyed farming, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially playing with his grandkids.

His family includes his wife Wanda of Winfield; his daughter Jolene McCullough of Winfield; his mother Darlene Cotton of Winfield; his brother Allen McCullough and wife, Patricia of Snyder, TX; his sisters, Linda Laude and husband, Brad of Wakarusa; Audrey Feaster and husband, Greg of Winfield; his grandchildren, Taten Kunkel, Madison Kunkel, and Brionna Garcia; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Troy McCullough, Anthony was preceded in death by his son, Troy Jerald Wayne "TJ" McCullough and a brother Larry McCullough.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 10, 2020 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Wilmot Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors during this time.

A memorial has been established in Anthony's name for Relay for Life of Winfield. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
