Amanda Villarreal, 24, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 in Oxford, Kansas.

Born September 1, 1993 in Lubbock, Texas, she was the daughter of Servando and Lupe (Contreras) Soto. She was raised and received her early education in Ralls, Texas. In 2004, the family moved to Winfield, Kansas where she completed her education, graduating from Winfield High School in 2011. After high school, she attended Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City.

Amanda then went to work for Creative Community Living as a caregiver. She enjoyed attending youth services at Central Baptist Church and GracePointe Assembly of God Church. She also enjoyed shopping, doing makeup, listening to music, singing, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Her sister: Delia Soto of Winfield;

Her paternal grandparents: Eduardo and Delia Soto of Winfield;
Her paternal great grandfather: Salvador Nunez of Chihuahua, Mexico;
Her nephews: Julian and John Beltran of Winfield; and
Many aunts and uncles.

Amanda was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jose Contreras and an aunt, Anita Hernandez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 A.M. December 9, 2017 at Holy Name Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:30 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 that evening at the funeral home.
