Alma Lucille "Lucy" Hartman's Obituary
Alma "Lucy" Lucille Hartman, 86, of Winfield, passed away Friday evening, February 22, 2008, at William Newton Hospital, in Winfield.
Lucy was born on July 23, 1921 to Valentine and Marietta Catherine (Beard) Hartman in Winfield, Kansas. She had spent most of her life in Winfield at the Winfield State Hospital and then later at the South Wind Residential Services.
Lucy enjoyed car rides, walks, going to museums, and arts and crafts.
Lucy is survived by many friends and care givers who will miss her.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held at Miles Funeral Service on Wednesday February 27, 2008 at 10:30 am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday.
A memorial has been established in Ms. Hartman's name to help defray funeral expenses.
Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
