Albert L. Crawford's Obituary
ALBERT L. CRAWFORD, 67, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 27, 2013 at William Newton Hospital.
Born October 31, 1946 in Salinas, California, he was the son of John P. and Irene B. (Lowderman) Crawford. Albert's family moved around a lot, but he was mostly raised in the Wichita area.
He entered the care of Res-Care Southwind 10 years ago in 2003. He enjoyed bowling, riding mechanical bulls, arts and crafts and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
His family includes:
His sisters: Ginger Hoffman of Wichita; and Judy I Grise of Navarre, Florida;
Numerous nieces and nephews; and
Special friends: Les Foley and Connie McGuire.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, John L. and George W. Crawford, his sister, Pearl Sue Stansbury.
Memorial services will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Private inurnment will take place at Gotebo, Oklahoma on Memorial Day 2014.
A Memorial has been established in Albert's name for Res-Care Southwind in Winfield. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
