Obituary

Adelina Eichenlaub, 63, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday morning, May 12, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society in Winfield.

Born June 6, 1950 in Taos, New Mexico, she was the daughter of James and Crucita (Concha) McLean. She spent her early childhood on the Taos Pueblo Reservation in New Mexico. The family then moved to Southern California where she received her education, graduating from Bellflower High School in Bellflower, California.

Adelina married James Pemberton in 1972 in Southern California, where she remained at home to raise the family's three children. The couple later divorced.

In 1990 she was united in marriage to David Eichenlaub, in Oregon. The couple moved to Wichita, Kansas in 1994 and later to Winfield to be near her daughter. Mr. Eichenlaub preceded her in death on January 9, 2014.

Adelina was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crafts, making jewelry, and solving crossword puzzles.

Her family includes:
Her daughter: Stephanie Outhier of Wichita;
Her sons: Joey McLean of Wichita; Tim Pemberton and wife, Tanya of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA;
Her grandchildren: Jessica Schneider, Alex Outhier, Alyssa Outhier, Brittnie Pemberton, Justin Pemberton, Nadia McLean and Sarina McLean;
Her 3 brothers and 7 sisters; and
Her numerous nieces and nephews.

Adelina was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Private family services will be held at a later date in California.
