Addene W. Decock's Obituary
ADDENE W. DECOCK, 89, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Winfield Resthaven.
Born on August 10, 1919 in Waverly, Kansas, she was the daughter of William E. and Mattie Della (Hardesty) Holden. She was raised and received her education in Waverly and graduated from Waverly High School in 1937.
She was united in marriage to Noel 'Sandy' Decock. The couple spent most of their lives in California while Noel served during World War II. Addene was a fulltime homemaker. Following Mr. Decock's passing, she moved to the Caney, Kansas area. She had resided in Winfield since 2005.
Addene enjoyed traveling, fishing and was a wonderful seamstress.
Her family includes:
Her sister: Margaret Rice of Winfield, KS.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold, Earl and Francis; and her sister, Lucretta.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Elk City Cemetery in Elk City Kansas.
